The Restricted Operator Certificate – Aeronautical (ROC-A) is a radio operator certificate intended for aircraft pilots, drone operators, airport radio operators and ground staff (such as airline ground dispatchers, landing strip snow removers, fuel supply truck staff, and airport firefighters) who work on or near landing strips. This certificate allows you to operate radios on board aircraft, land vehicles or in base stations, using frequencies in the aeronautical band.
